Message	sorry your brakes cracked.... as for the intial bite, it may be due to the pads..... but it may also be due to the larger lever arm created by the caliper being further out....Imagine a spinning record....If you put your finger on a record near the middle (i.e stock rotor size), it will be a lot harder to stop than if you put your funger on it near the outside edge (i.e. 13" rotor size)... But then again, it is mostly perception, but I due percieve to feel a difference....
